School News 02/07/10

Every school has a School Improvement Partner (SIP) allocated to it by the Local Authority.  The SIP visits the school at least once a term and, armed with lots of data, policies, development plans, etc. they help the school to identify the next steps for success.  Our SIP visited Stutton this week and he was very pleased with the academic progress of all our pupils.  Using a detailed tracking system, he assessed that all pupils are making very good progress.

As well as celebrating our children’s achievements in our newsletter, we also have an Achievements Book celebrating all kinds of other achievements, such as kindness, helpfulness, a particularly good piece of work, special endeavour, etc.  This book is situated in the waiting area at the front entrance of the school, and we hope you may find time to browse through it from time to time.

Welcome

The staff, governors and children are very pleased to welcome you to our schoolA view of Stutton primary School website. We are dedicated to ensuring that every child is valued as an individual and is given the opportunity to share their own strengths and talents.

We strive to provide our pupils with a safe, happy and purposeful environment in which they receive high quality education and a wealth of experiences.

We are situated at the heart of the village and its community. We are fortunate to have Stutton Seals Playgroup on our site and enjoy close links with both playgroup and Holbrook High School. We are delighted that many of our past pupils and their parents keep in touch and are still keen to support the school.

This website is designed to introduce you to our School but cannot convey the real ethos of our community. Therefore we warmly welcome prospective parents and children to visit us at any time.
